Ensures teammates are performing job duties accordingly. Notifies Supervisor for performance improvement needs.

Train team members and evaluate if competencies are met successfully.

Responsible for thorough completion of cleaning assignments to all sanitation crew.

Provide cleaning and sanitizing of production specific areas including equipment.

Sweep and mop floors and stairs.

Clean production environment including floors, stairs, walls, drains, waste receptacles and additional areas as assigned.

Perform tasks in a manner that will not create or cause a threat to the health and safety of teammates, and not create or cause disruption, damage, or contamination to food, equipment, or the facility.

Gather and remove waste.

Maintain cleaning equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.

Prepare proper chemical dilutions using approved chemicals, and maintain proper labeling of chemicals.

Maintain chemical and cleaning storage supply areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.

Complete chemical and cleaning supply inventory, anticipating supply needs.

Document cleaning and inspections.

Complete emergency cleaning requests.

Responsible for properly securing building at shift end.

Supports the compliance of food regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

Complies with personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements.

Reports food safety, food defense, food threats, and/or quality issues to QA immediately.

Accurately and thoroughly completes all required paper work on time as required.

Develops and maintains positive, effective working relationships to ensure company standards are met.

Pays attention to detail. Knows when something is wrong and takes corrective action and notifies the Production Supervisor or QA as appropriate.

Notifies the Production Supervisor and/or the Maintenance Technician if there is a problem, (e.g., with the line, any safety concerns, mechanical issues, etc.).

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Works in a food-manufacturing environment. Exposed to typical elements; flour dust, moderate noise, temperature extremes.

Exposure to various major allergens as defined by the FDA.

Chemical handling.

Must be able to accommodate schedule changes when necessary to reach company goals.

Regularly required to lift and/or move objects 10-60 pounds, with or without assistance.

Regularly required to use hands, fingers to handle and feel, reach, and repetitive motion with hands and arms.

Must be able to ascend/descend stairs; required to stand for extended periods, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.

Vision abilities for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
