Receptionist - Tippin's Pie Plant

The Receptionist position is responsible for a broad base of duties. This position has the primary responsibility of greeting guests, both on the telephone and entering the plant, in a warm and friendlily manner and is a critical control point for enforcing regulations to guarantee that everyone entering the production area has strictly followed all the requirements laid out within the "Food Safety and Quality Guidelines".The Receptionist position is responsible for a broad base of duties. This position has the primary responsibility of greeting guests, both on the telephone and entering the plant, in a warm and friendlily manner and is a critical control point for enforcing regulations to guarantee that everyone entering the production area has strictly followed all the requirements laid out within the "Food Safety and Quality Guidelines".

Functions:

· Answer the phone and greet visitors.

· Ensure all guests have signed in the visitor's log, have read the "Food Safety and Quality Guidelines", and have property prepared themselves to enter the production floor or office area

· Monitor outgoing orders to determine adequate inventory of nutritional labels as well as foil labels for production. Print nutritional and order foil labels where needed.

· Maintain Lab Coat and Uniform Program at both the Bakery and the Food Plant

· Maintain the Safety Shoe Program at both the Bakery and the Food Plant

· Distributes all incoming production orders to management.

· Distributes shipping tickets to Warehouse Manager

· Converts shipped orders into invoices.

· Maintains data for sales of finished product and purchases of raw ingredients and packaging.

Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

Qualifications:

· Strong communicator – verbal, written and electronic.

· Organization skills.

· Ability to communicate and deal effectively with team members at all organizational levels and establish sound relationships with all levels of team members.

· Proficient Excel, and average or better MS Office Suite.

· Average math and reading skills.

· Strong observation skills.

· Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for work outcomes.

· Able to perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Languages: Spanish is a requirement.
