Production Scheduler - Tippin's Pie Plant

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing organization. The ability to work accurately and with minimum supervision is essential.

The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the daily production schedule based on demand, forecasting, par levels, internal capacity constraints, and factors affecting product availability and expected customer shipments. The Production Scheduler must have an excellent understanding of the various manufacturing functional areas (e.g., Dough Room, Kettle Room, Creaming Room, Pie Lines, etc.) throughout the bakery. They should also understand the planning needs of raw materials, the time and functional areas needed to produce various products, primary and secondary packaging needs, and movement of product both around the production floor and in and out of the storage areas.

The successful candidate will support the Bakery Team with a focus on producing the highest quality and food-safe products. The Production Scheduler must have an excellent understanding of food safety practices and will work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team and all members to ensure constant vigilance to food safety and quality best practices. Preferred qualifications include experience in commercial food production and bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
