Network Manager - Support Office

POSITION SUMMARY: The Network Manager is accountable to the Director of Information Technology, and covers 30 locations of responsibility. This position is a hands on position.

• Management of team priorities,
• Oversees Network and Telecom operations.
• Management of internal network staff.
• Maintenance and continual improvement of network operational standards.
• Works closely with Operations Support Manager and Architecture.
• Manages projects under the Network Telecom umbrella.
• Ensures Network and Telecom security
• Organizes team to deliver and assist on numerous requests as required including but not limited to: WAN, LAN, WLAN, traffic optimization devices, Security, Data Center network architecture, Cloud architecture, tools for maintenance and monitoring, and other special troubleshooting or implementation projects as assigned.
• Strengthens key partnerships with network technology hardware, software, and service vendors.
• Analyzes complex business needs, and recommend and facilitate implementation of network enhancements or upgrades to improve performance and reliability of IT solutions
• Ensures PCI Compliance is maintained and works with the PCI assessor as new requirements develop.

Required experience:

• Must have experience as a Network Manager in a multi-location environment
• Must have managed a team.

• Firewalls – various types and brands
• Switching, including 802.1q VLAN structure, implementation and architecture
• MS Active Directory, planning organization implementation
• MS Active Directory, group policy implementation
• MS Active Directory PowerShell Scripting
• MS DOS and Robo-Copy scripting
• HTML, CSS, PHP, C++ Scripting
• Wireless Networking infrastructure and build out.
• VoIP Phone Systems
• AVPN (MPLS) infrastructures
• P2P VPN
• Remote SSL VPN
• Remote session Management applications (TeamViewer)
• Network Problem Solving
• PCI-DSS compliance
• HIPAA compliance knowledge
• Hands On patch panel and data room work

Education / Certification Desired:

Degree in Infosys or Network discipline

Certification in Network, Cisco, Network+, Security+
