Enterprise Systems Engineer - Support Office

Responsibilities

• Uses PowerShell and knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, and automation when possible.
• Developing, implementing and managing a patch management program.
• Acts as the Level III (3) escalation point for junior level teammates.
• Responsible for developing an effective and efficient global end-user computing environment which meets users' needs and expectations including stability, maintainability, performance, and recoverability.
• Deploy and maintain an enterprise workstation and software management framework and associated systems and documenting configurations to ensure consistency.
• Exchange administration.
• Some SQL scripting, and improving what is currently in place.
• Design, test, implement and maintain company-wide standard desktop/laptop images, along with creation and maintenance of all processes and associated documentation.
• Research, test, certify and document operating system upgrades and patches to be deployed into the organization, as well as define associated processes.
• Responsible for designing, creating and testing Windows images and application packages that will be used across the enterprise.
• Building and maintaining Windows Servers and documenting builds and configuration standards.
• Active directory administration.

Qualifications

• Information Technology or related IT field and IT related experience to equal 5+ years
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and sound judgment
• Must be a self-starter
• Hands on experience with multiple IT technologies
• Knowledge and understanding of incident, problem and escalation process
• Prefer industry certifications or formal training or classes.
• Scripting and other well-known writing languages like PHP, Power Shell, ect.
• Must be able to document configurations, changes as well as processes.
