We are looking for a dependable, guest-focused Courtesy Clerk to join our team at Hen House. In this role, you'll help create a smooth, convenient, and welcoming shopping experience by supporting front-end operations, assisting guests with their purchases, and keeping the store clean, safe, and organized.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat visits
• Assist guests with bagging groceries and offer carryout service to enhance convenience and satisfaction
• Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and maintain a safe, clean, and organized exterior area
• Help keep store entrances, checkout areas, and common spaces clean, clear, and welcoming
• Support front-end operations by assisting cashiers and responding to guest needs promptly
• Stock, rotate, and face products as needed to support store presentation and product availability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the store
• Follow all workplace safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Develop basic knowledge of store products, locations, and services to better assist guests
• Monitor store conditions and report any safety, cleanliness, or product concerns to leadership
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and leadership to support efficient operations
• Collaborate across departments to support overall store performance and guest satisfaction
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance, conduct, and dress code standards
• Support loss prevention efforts by staying alert and following proper procedures
• Participate in required trainings and continuous learning opportunities
• Remain productive during slower periods by cleaning, organizing, restocking, or supporting other departments
• Other job duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Required: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: Experience in grocery, retail, or customer service environments
