Billing Coordinator

Job responsibilities

• Load new cost discount information into pricing database via spreadsheet or handkey
• Review company cost discount information for overlaps and resolve discrepancies
• Work closely with accounting department to ensure that product brokers are invoiced according to promotional contracts
• Research billing questions from product brokers and adjust as necessary
• Forward order data to accounting for invoicing brokers
• Create sales/order reports as needed
• Other responsibilities
  • Review Hen House ad proof and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain ad files on company network for stores and support staff
  • Assist in ordering/invoicing for seasonal candy

Skills needed

• Advanced knowledge of Excel 2010 or later, including (but not limited to)
  • Ability to use conditional formatting
  • Ability to use pivot tables
  • Comfort creating/working with complex/advanced formulas (such as H- and V-Lookups, various IF(S) formulas, and nested formulas)
  • Familiarity with macros
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access 2010 or later, including (but not limited to)
  • Ability to import/export data from/to Excel
  • Ability to create/delete tables/records
  • Comfort creating/working with forms
  • Familiarity with macros
• Highly detail-minded, with a focus on financial figures and dates
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solver
• Good communication skills, with emphasis on explaining complex processes to others
• Knowledge of BRData is preferred, but not required
• Background in financial fields (banking, bookkeeping/receivables, cash office, etc) is a plus
